Permanence: How We Print Portraits to Last Generations

Long after memories begin to soften, a thoughtfully crafted portrait continues to tell your story. Ready to begin? Commission a legacy portrait and start with a conversation about your family's story.

"The finest portraits are not measured in years, but in generations."

Archival Digital Printing

For portraits chosen to be printed digitally, we use archival pigment inks on museum-grade cotton rag paper — the same standard used in galleries and archives. Properly cared for, these prints hold their color and clarity for well over a century.
The magic of these prints is the final finish with hand painting and brush strokes that impart a vintage painterly effect on the canvas

Archival Analog Printing

If you are a connoisseur, appreciating the finer aspects of life, we offer two of the most permanent photographic processes ever developed: Platinum Palladium and Carbon Transfer. Rather than ink sitting on top of the paper, these processes embed the image directly into the paper's fibers using stable metals and pigments — the print doesn't fade so much as it simply endures. Museums favor these processes for exactly this reason.
What's more, these prints are completely hand made.

Which process is right for you?

Not every portrait calls for the same process. During your session, we'll recommend the archival method best suited to your image, the mood you're after, and where the piece will hang — so the decision is made with intention, not left to guesswork.

As someone who really enjoys the arts, I appreciated the thought and originality that PV brought to each concept.
The final photographs beautifully captured the elegance and timeless feel we were hoping to achieve. His eye for detail and composition helped bring each idea to life while staying true to the inspiration behind the shoots. It was clear that he cared about creating images that reflected both the artistic inspiration and the personality of the people in front of the camera.
